U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had his Senate testimony interrupted by pro-Palestine protestors on Tuesday, who chanted in favor of a ceasefire and raised their hands which they covered with fake blood.

The testimony was part of a Senate hearing on the Biden administration’s proposed emergency funding request for the conflicts in Israel and Ukraine.

The protestors accused the U.S. and Blinken of condoning a massacre in Gaza, which has been hit by numerous airstrikes since Hamas militants murdered and kidnapped hundreds of Israel Jews on Oct. 7. “Save the children of Gaza,” a protester shouted. “Cease-fire now. Where is your pride in America.”

The protestors are thought to have been affiliated with activist group CODEPINK, the name of which was printed on a sign. One sign they held up read, “All the walls have got to go.” Another said, “No more $$$ 4 Israel.”

One by one, the protestors that stood up and heckled Blinken were escorted out of the room by Capitol Hill security. But a group of protestors hiding in plain sight revealed themselves by holding their hands up, which were all covered with fake blood.
