On Tuesday, the Select Subcommittee on COVID announced it received new information about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s direct involvement in the CIA’s cover-up of COVID’s origins.
According to information obtained by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Fauci was escorted to the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) headquarters during its review of the origins of COVID-19. The Subcommittee claims that Fauci, then-director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), was purposely prevented from having his entry into the HQ recorded. It also claimed that he directly influenced the review of the virus’s origins.
The CIA panel then decided that COVID could not have originated in a lab in Wuhan, China. However, recent records have proven that Fauci was aware of the validity to the lab-leak theory at the time, as well as when he claimed it was a baseless conspiracy theory.
The Subcommittee’s investigation into the CIA’s role in covering up the virus’s origins began on Sept. 12. That day, the Subcommittee announced that a CIA whistleblower had come to them claiming the Agency had paid the analysts on the COVID origin inquiry team to claim it did not derive from a lab.

The Select Subcommittee’s document on the most recent finding reads:
The Select Subcommittee’s goal is to ensure accountability and transparency. The American people deserve the truth—to know the origins of the virus and whether there was a concerted effort by public health authorities to suppress the lab leak theory for political or national security purposes. Accordingly, information regarding specific movements of Dr. Fauci throughout the pandemic is reasonable and hardly intrusive, especially considering he is no longer employed by the federal government, he is no longer a protectee of the Inspector General, and we are not requesting any information regarding his current movements.
The Subcommittee furthermore announced it was making multiple information requests in the document, including any records that the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General authorized Fauci’s visit to the CIA. It also called forth Special Agent Brett Rowland for a transcribed interview, who was a member of Fauci’s security team when he was NIAID director.
