This week, the Facebook parent Meta will soon be added to the list of layoffs. The Wall Street Journal is reporting Meta will make its first round of wide-ranging layoffs in its history. The official announcement could come as soon as Wednesday. Reports say during the company’s third-quarter earnings call, CEO Mark Zuckerburg hinted at the layoffs saying, “Some teams will grow meaningfully, but other teams will stay flat or shrink over the next year.”
