Hillary Clinton sat down for an interview with former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki on her new MSNBC show “Inside with Jen Psaki” on Sunday. Among other things, they discussed the debunked claims of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.

“[Vladimir Putin] has intervened in our election in the past, as you experienced firsthand. It’s not something we talk about a lot,” Psaki began. “Do you fear that that is something that could be happening for 2024 and do you think we should be talking about it more?”

“Well, I think we should be talking about it more,” Hillary affirmed, “because I don’t think, despite all the, you know, deniers, there’s any doubt that he interfered in our election, or that he has interfered in many ways in the internal affairs of other countries.” She claimed Putin funds political parties, political candidates, and has bought off government officials in different countries, and that this proves he has and will continue to meddle in U.S. elections. Clinton claimed Putin hates America, the West, and democracy, and has endeavored to damage the U.S. electoral process simply out of this hatred. She concluded that if Putin gets a chance to interfere in American elections, “he’ll do it again.”

“Sadly he has a lot of apologists and enablers in our own country,” Hillary lamented.

She pivoted to denouncing ‘Putin-like’ behavior among Americans, saying we have to “reject authoritarianism, reject a kind of creeping fascism almost of people who are ready to turn over their thinking, their votes, to winnable dictators, and we can’t allow that to proceed.”

Psaki and Clinton began the interview by criticizing the Dobbs decision and agreed that abortion rights are highly important. Hillary criticized red states for denying women “necessary medical care.” She also said she “feels good” about where the Democratic Party is and supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris because she respects (or at least claims to) the job they are doing and because of “how dangerous” the alternative is. She claimed that people only scrutinize Harris because she is the first woman and the first person of color in the VP seat.

Clinton also called Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) “too weak” to stand up to members of the “most rabid walk of his members.” She claimed the GOP had no agenda and had no interest in solving the problems of the country. Regarding the impeachment inquiry opened against President Biden, she said “there’s no there there” and that she has been too busy at Clinton Global Initiative “trying to be positive and to come up with solutions to our problems” to pay any attention to the case.
