According to insider sources contacted by The Los Angeles Times, rapper and media mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is still in the United States, contrary to rumors that he fled the country via airplane.
The sources say Combs was planning to leave the country Monday by plane for a “spring break vacation with his school-age daughters” but decided to stay when he was informed about the search. Combs was not detained at an airport, but Homeland Security authorities did stop a plane at an executive airport in Miami. There, police officers in Miami-Dade county also arrested 25-year-old Brendan Paul, Combs’ alleged “mule,” for possession of cocaine and marijuana-laced candy.
Combs has yet to be charged with a crime. Law enforcement authorities, speaking on anonymity, say they have interviewed at least three women in connection with the case, but have declined additional comment. One of Combs’ lawyers is saying the federal agents were in the wrong for raiding his properties, describing it as an “unprecedented ambush,” a “gross overuse of military-level force,” and “nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents that raided his 17,000-square-foot mansion in Holmby Hills near Los Angeles reportedly seized evidence to use in the federal investigation currently being conducted into allegations of sex trafficking by the Southern District of New York. Two of Combs’ children, Justin and King, were led out of the home in handcuffs. They then returned a few hours later to gather their belongings and left again to an unknown location.
As Valuetainment previously reported, his home in Miami was also raided. In an official statement, Homeland Security Investigations said it “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”

This follows from a series of lawsuits from women alleging that Diddy abused them. Diddy wielded tremendous influence in the entertainment business during the 1990s and 2000s, and all the victims claim he abused his power toward sadistic ends, including violence, rape, and emotional manipulation.
In February, a music producer alleged in a lawsuit that Combs coerced him into having sex with prostitutes, about which Combs’ attorney Shawn Holley said: “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies.”
In the first of these, which Valuetainment reported on at the time, P. Diddy was sued in federal court in November 2023 by R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura on accusations of rape and repeated physical abuse over a decade. Ventura, who was once signed to Diddy’s label and was his long-time romantic partner, claims he began abusing her at 19. The suit described Combs as an unstable and manipulative individual who used coercive tactics and violent threats.
The alleged abuses included controlling her with drugs and alcohol, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes which he filmed for his own pleasure. She also alleged that Combs forced himself into her home and raped her, that he forced Ventura to carry his handgun in her purse, that he once dangled a friend of hers from the balcony of a high-rise hotel, and that he blew up a car belonging to artist Kid Cudi when he found out he was interested in Ventura.
The suit was settled just one day after it was filed when the two parties had reached a deal “to their mutual satisfaction.” No terms were disclosed nor were any statements released beyond the official one distributed by the lawyer, which was formal and did not go into detail.
