The Department of Justice alleges witness to claims of corruption within the Biden family, Dr. Gal Luft, is a Chinese Arms Trafficker. The DOJ accused Dr. Luft of operating as a trafficker as well as helping China obtain Iranian oil, in violation of United States sanctions.
Dr. Luft, a dual US-Israeli citizen was arrested in Cyprus this past February and then released on bail before his extradition. He’s now accused of operating as an unregistered lobbyist for China, according to a Manhattan indictment unsealed on Monday.

According to prosecutors in the Southern in District of New York, Dr. Luft allowed a Hong Kong official, Patrick Ho, to send $350,000 each year to his think tank — the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security.
Although Ho is not mentioned in the indictment, court documents match up to incidents in Ho’s life, including his arrest by U.S. officials in November 2017 on bribery and money-laundering charges.
The indictment mentioned Dr. Luft agreeing to “recruit and educate” a former high-ranking U.S. official to “make public statements…which were in interest of China.” According to the New York Post, details match up with former CIA Director James Woolsey, who briefly worked for former President Donald J. Trump’s transition team after the 2016 presidential election.
“I, who volunteered to inform the U.S. government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life,” Dr. Luft told The Post last week.
“He subverted foreign agent registration laws in the United States to seek to promote Chinese policies by acting through a former high-ranking U.S. Government official; he acted as a broker in deals for dangerous weapons and Iranian oil; and he told multiple lies about his crimes to law enforcement,” Williams claimed in a DOJ statement. “As the charges unsealed today reflect, our Office will continue to work vigorously with our law enforcement partners to detect and hold accountable those who surreptitiously attempt to perpetrate malign foreign influence campaigns here in the United States.”
Dr. Luft claims this criminal case is a political hit job meant to stop him from testifying to the House Oversight Committee. Dr. Luft intended to provide testimony that the Biden administration received payments from individuals with ties to Chinese military intelligence and that the family had a “mole” within the FBI wo shared classified information with their benefactors from the China state-controlled energy company, CEFC.
Senator Ron Johnson, one of multiple Republicans who tout Dr. Luft as a whistleblower witness, suggested that the DOJ’s case against Dr. Luft is connected to his alleged interest in exposing Biden family corruption.
“Is DOJ trying to silence Dr. Gal Luft from publicly exposing Biden family corruption?” asked Johnson, R-Wisc., the top Republican on the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. “The American people deserve the truth and Dr. Luft must have the chance to testify before Congress.”
