To be ten steps ahead, (or 3 years ahead, rather) from big tech oligarchs can be pretty frustrating, especially with the political officials and social climate that have resulted from unethical and infringing censorship of the American people.

A video of CEO Mark Zuckerberg went viral on Twitter after the billionaire admitted on Thursday’s episode of “Lex Fridman Podcast” that “misinformation has been a tricky one because there are things that are kind of, obviously false, that are maybe factual…um…but may not be harmful – so it’s like, ‘ok, are you going to just censor someone for just being wrong if there’s no harm implication of what they’re doing? There’s a bunch of real issues and challenges there.”

“Just take some of the stuff around COVID earlier in the pandemic where there were real health implications, but there hadn’t been time to fully vet a bunch of the scientific assumptions. Unfortunately, I think a lot of the kind of establishment on that kind of waffled on a bunch of facts and asked for a bunch of things to be censored that, in retrospect, ended up being more debatable or true. That stuff is really tough, right? It really undermines trust.”

At the time Zuckerberg claimed, “If we see harmful misinformation on the platform, then we take it down. It’s against our policy.” However, he also admitted his system for combating misinformation wasn’t perfect.

He told King, “But do we catch everything? Of course, there are mistakes that we make or areas where we need to improve. But that’s the best number that we have in terms of what we’ve seen and what our systems have been able to detect.”

Back in August 2022, Mark Zuckerberg went on Joe Rogan’s podcast saying that Facebook also restricted stories about President Biden’s son during the 2020 election, claiming that the censorship was based on FBI misinformation warnings.

The CEO admitted to making the wrong decision in censoring these stories, but where is the accountability? Someone actively withholds information about a potential president’s son that could directly affect voters’ decisions and all this person gets is a pat on the back claiming he’s ‘only human?’

Would the same protection have been considered for any of former President Trump’s kids? We think not.

To make matters even more infuriating, the U.S. Department of Energy concluded earlier this year that the pandemic most likely did leak from the Wuhan lab in China.

Again, WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?
