Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is pressuring Attorney General Pam Bondi to expedite the release of documents related to the JFK assassinations and the Jeffrey Epstein client list.
Luna has faced criticism for the slow progress of these disclosures, asserting that she lacks the authority to declassify the documents and is relying on Bondi, who claims to be reviewing them as per a directive from President Trump.
“On Feb 11 & Feb 19, house oversight sent a letter to the DOJ asking for status on releasing the Epstein files as well as JFK etc. The DOJ has not responded,” Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna posted on X on Monday. “Reaching out on X because we can’t seem to get a response from the AG. [Bondi] what is the status of the documents? These documents were ordered to be declassified.”

Last week, Bondi told Fox News that the Epstein files were sitting on her desk awaiting her review, leading to confusion about the delay.
“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” Bondi said at the time. “That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that. I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That’s all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the President from all of these agencies.”
Luna has emphasized the need for transparency and has pushed for accountability from Bondi amidst growing public demand for the information.
The House Oversight Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on these issues, indicating ongoing scrutiny of the matter.
