Zuckerberg stated that Biden aides would aggressively demand the removal of posts discussing vaccine side effects, leading to confrontations where officials would “scream and curse” at Meta employees.

Despite these pressures, Zuckerberg maintained that Meta resisted taking down factual content, including certain memes and humorous posts.
He acknowledged that the vaccines have overall benefits but expressed regret over censoring accurate information.
Zuckerberg noted that Meta is shifting its content review model to depoliticize processes, following criticism over its handling of misinformation and hate speech.
