Apple unveiled the new iPhone 12 to the world earlier in the week. The latest model has 5G capabilities, which means it’s going to be faster than any iPhone Apple maniacs have ever had access to, so fans of the brand are going to want one. The question is, how much will they have to pay? It depends on what carrier they have. The three major U.S. carriers want to move product and are offering sales for subscribers with some attractive discounts in order to lock in customers on wireless service.

If you have AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon, you’ll get a $30 discount on the iPhone 12. The discounts can be much bigger for the new models if customers are willing to commit to monthly payments for the next few years, trade in an old phone or sign up for unlimited data plans.

Here’s a glance at the promotions the carriers are offering:

AT&T’s promotion applies both to new and existing customers. To get a free iPhone 12, AT&T requires a trade-in, and the customer must activate it on an unlimited plan that costs at least $65 per month for an individual.

Verizon is offering a free iPhone 12 for new customers, but they will also have to trade in an old phone, sign up for unlimited data and stick with it for two years.

T-Mobile has up to $850 in credit spread out over 30 payments. It is also offering deals for customers who buy multiple iPhones at the same time.

So, depending on your needs, how many people are on your account — and how bad you want the iPhone 12 — check with your carrier and try to tap into the discounts available as they all battle for your business.
