You knew it was only a matter of time. On Wednesday, someone on Twitter threw out the idea of editing out Donald Trump from his short appearance in the movie “Home Alone 2” and replacing it with a 40-year old version of Macauley Culkin, the child star of the film.

Sold,” was how Culkin replied to the tweet. It will probably start an avalanche from the PC police of trying to rid every pop culture moment Trump was featured in.

Trump has been in 13 movies and even more television shows, with his credits including “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Zoolander,” “Sex and the City,” and many more.

President Trump owned The Plaza Hotel back in 1991 when “Home Alone 2” was filmed, and according to director Chris Columbus, Trump demanded a small cameo in the film. “We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn’t rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage.”

“Trump said OK,” Columbus continued. “We paid the fee, but he also said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.’ So we agreed to put him in the movie, and when we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, ‘Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience.’ But he did bully his way into the movie.”

President Trump’s IMDB page notes 26 actor credits. He’s appeared in soap operas (Days of Our Lives, All My Children), sitcoms (Suddenly Susan, Spin City, The Drew Carey Show), and unsurprisingly, in every one of his acting appearances, he’s played himself.
