Rumors have been swirling since former President Trump announced he may be arrested today for alleged hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels back in 2016.

But who is this Manhattan District attorney calling for Trump’s arrest, and why is the timing of this probe appearing so suspicious?

The man in the spotlight is Alvin Bragg, a former New York state and federal prosecutor, and Manhattan District’s first black district attorney. Bragg took office as the Democratic DA in January 2022.

According to reports from Fox News, Soros “funneled $40 million dollars into district attorney campaigns nationwide, and now his beneficiaries represent around 20% of Americans,” including Bragg on that list.

The New York Post reported that “Soros also donated $1 million to Alvin Bragg’s successful DA campaign in Manhattan, funneling the cash through the Color of Change political action committee.”

Bragg now inherits this latest Trump probe from his predecessor, Cy Vance, who began this investigation when Trump was still in office.

Trump has encouraged supporters to push back against the potential indictment, arguing that the investigation is “corrupt” and “highly political,” also accusing President Biden for weaponizing the American judicial system for political gain.

“Biden wants to pretend he has nothing to do with the Manhattan D.A.’s Assault on Democracy when, in fact, he has ‘stuffed’ the D.A.’s Office with Department of Injustice people, including one top DOJ operative from D.C. who is actually running the ‘Horseface’ Witch Hunt,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday.

“Bragg is a (Soros) Racist in Reverse, who is taking his orders from D.C. I beat them TWICE, doing much better the second time, and despite their DISINFORMATION campaign, they don’t want to run against ‘TRUMP’ or my GREAT RECORD!” he added.

On top of all this information, The House Judiciary Committee is demanding that Bragg testifies before Congress in the wake of this indictment. Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter, according to Fox News Digital, demanding his testimony.

This pattern continues as this potential indictment comes back in the picture in attempts to disrupt Trump’s run for the next presidential election. Question is, will this probe actually happen today? Furthermore, will the probe hurt or actually propel Trump forward to becoming president, again?
