Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has reportedly been named on the Transportation Security Administration’s “Quiet Skies” watchlist, whistleblowers within the Federal Air Marshal Service are claiming, subjecting her to the same surveillance used against suspected terrorists. According to the allegations first reported to UndercoverDC, Gabbard, a lieutenant in the US Army Reserve and a fierce critic of the Biden administration, has unknowingly had “two explosive-detection canine teams, one Transportation Security specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA supervisor, and three federal air marshals on every flight” she’s boarded since being added to the list.

Quiet Skies, a compartmentalized TSA watchlist program, is intended to protect passengers on domestic flights from individuals who pose elevated security risks. The program has previously been weaponized against people suspected of participating in the January 6 Capitol riot, flagging them and their family members as possible threats. People targeted for Quiet Skies surveillance are monitored while traveling and are often subjected to lengthy searches that can cause them to miss their flights.

The whistleblower report, first shared with Sonya LaBosco, the Executive Director of the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC), determined that Gabbard was added to the Quiet Skies list on July 23, 2024, one day after she criticized President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the overall security state during an interview with Laura Ingrahm.

Marshals began monitoring Gabbard on flights beginning July 25.
