The name many of America has grown to hate is again trending, and many are outraged. Casey Anthony is known for being found not guilty of the murder of her daughter Caylee Anthony in 2008. Even though she was acquitted in 2011, many people believe she did it. Since then, Anthony has been keeping a low profile in West Palm Beach, Florida, and is seen from time to time at a local bar. She has never really spoken about what happened to her daughter over a decade ago until now.

On November 29th, the documentary Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies debuted on the streaming service Peacock. According to a review done by Forbes, the documentary will not finally give a definite answer to who killed Caylee Anthony. If you decide to watch, the documentary will provide insight into why Casey Anthony lied and did not report her missing daughter until a month later. In clips from the Peacock Twitter page, Anthony appears to blame past trauma as her reason for lying about her daughter’s death.

Regardless of what the documentary will reveal, people quickly rushed to social media to express their hate or dislike for Casey Anthony and Peacock. Several tweets curse both Anthony and the Peacock TV. Most of the outrage points towards Peacock giving a “baby killer” a platform. Viewers are also upset with Anthony’s explanation of what happened and who she claims actually killed her daughter.

According to Yahoo News, experts say a lawsuit is possible for certain things said in the documentary, but there is no word on if that will happen. Despite outrage from viewers, no word on if Peacock will take down the documentary.
