Now Target is the newest target of the culture wars. But they brought this upon themselves.
It all started when Target introduced special “tuck-friendly” swimwear. Extra crotch padding allows transgendered “women” to just tuck it all in.

Those were for adults. But the kids weren’t left out either. Target also came out with a line of baby clothes with pro LGBT slogans and pictures on them. One shirt included said “trans people will always exist!”
They also released a bunch of buttons, and while not directed towards children, the buttons had visuals that were certainly appealing to them. One said, “Witches and wizards love trans people.”
Now, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is virtually butting heads with California Governor Gavin Newsom. They both stand as two of the more extreme members of their respective parties.
Newsom called out the Target CEO for hiding the controversial merchandise in the back of some of his stores that are located in south.

This isn’t just a couple stores in the South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country.

“This doesn’t stop here. You’re black? You’re Asian? You’re Jewish? You’re a woman? You’re next,” Newsom said.
Seems like quite a jump. Then Greene shot back.
No one is attacking the gay community Gavin.
They don’t want their children forcefully exposed to the radical side of pride with “tuck it” and “binding” children’s clothes and messaging while simply shopping at Target.

“We don’t support your California child genital mutilation industry. As a matter of fact, I want to end it,” Greene tweeted.
Newsom declared California a sanctuary state for transgender kids. He also signed a law that guarantees hormone blocking treatment for children, which is now paid for by his state’s healthcare.
But Newsom might have had the last laugh, asking if Greene was the space laser person. Greene blamed “state of the art Jewish space lasers” as a potential cause of wildfires.

Moral of the story? Maybe conservatives need a more sane figure clapping back at Newsom. The efforts against Target do seem to be working. They lost $8 billion in one week in investments due to the negative attention.
As Newsom prepares himself to be a national figure amongst the hard left, expect him to take in each new conservative Twitter opponent with glee. The conservatives needs to send a squeaky clean all-star.
