There seems to be an active and simmering vendetta aimed at former President Donald Trump from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Clearly, Alvin Bragg has made his obsession with taking down Trump something very personal, but Trump feels there’s another person that could make his life difficult in the coming months.

The judge. Acting New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan will preside over the case, and Trump feels he’s out to get him. He calls Merchan “hand-picked” by Bragg and says that Merchan “hates him.” Trump posted that message to his Truth Social account in all caps, calling Merchan “highly partisan” and claiming his family is loaded with “well-known Trump haters.”

Merchan can impose a gag order on Trump. That would limit him from discussing the case details as he campaigns to regain his old job at the White House.

Bragg has been blasted in New York for his soft stance on violent crime, but he’s all in on this mission to take down Trump. The former commander-in-chief has called Bragg an “animal” and pointed out the funds that socialist billionaire George Soros has pumped into advocacy groups that helped get Bragg elected.
