Usually when a President leaves office the first thing they do is work on the blueprints of their Presidential Library or put together an outline for a Presidential biography.

Not Donald Trump.  Back in February, Steve Bannon threw out an idea that sounded ridiculous at the time, but Trump is giving it a little bit of credence now.

It involves Trump running for Congress in 2022, and if the Republicans take back the majority in the House, then Trump would take a run at Speaker of the House. It would put him right back into the epicenter of the political world, and positioning him to lead an impeachment investigation into Joe Biden.

Radio host Wayne Allyn Rood mentioned it again on his radio show Friday as he interviewed Trump.

“Why not, instead of waiting for 2024, and I’m hoping you’ll run in 2024 but why not run in 2022 for the United States Congress? A House seat in Florida. Win big. Lead us to a dramatic landslide victory. Take the House by 50 seats. And then you become the Speaker of the House, lead the impeachment of Biden and start criminal investigations against Biden. You’ll wipe him out for this last two years,” Root said with excitement.

Trump responded by saying “That’s so— that’s so interesting.”
