If you’re looking for something to watch over the weekend or are curious about a billionaire’s life, check out the new HBO Max docuseries about billionaire Richard Branson. HBO Max is now showing a four-part docuseries on the founder of the 52-year-old “Virgin Group.” The docuseries titled “Branson” takes viewers through his journey to success the tycoon has accomplished in his 72 years. 

The ” Branson” docuseries takes place before the known daredevil’s trip to space in 2021. Branson says the docuseries was filmed before the historic voyage so he could tell his own story in case something went wrong. 

You already know Branson is worth $3.9 billion, the companies he owns, and the luxurious lifestyle he has access to. In the docuseries, a producer sits with the tycoon and his family, business associates, and journalists to hear the stories not many know and understand his legacy. The 72-year-old icon discusses facing criticism while dropping gems about life and success. Family members share stories like the beginning of Branson’s first big project, Student Magazine, at 16 years old.

Without spilling too much, you’ll learn more about Branson’s wife, who he has been married to since 1989. You will also get to see how a family business is run. Branson’s two children play significant roles in his company.

The first part of “Branson” has already debuted on HBO Max streaming. After watching the episode, you can catch the other three parts every Thursday at 10 p.m. EST.
