On his CNBC show “The Profit,” Marcus Lemonis searches for people who are struggling and offers them needed cash to solve the situation.
Lemonis is applying the TV show formula for businesses to Friday’s downtown Nashville bombing for the investigation, offering $250,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects responsible for the RV explosion that hospitalized three people.
“I would like to put up a $250,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction inside of your process … ,” Lemonis tweeted. “We can’t have our streets terrorized like this. #horror.”
Lemonis kept adding tweets for his 585,000 followers, such as “Let’s spread the word and help the city solve this” and “Somebody, somewhere, knows something. Spread the word.”
The Camping World CEO and chairman, who grew up in Miami and lives near Chicago, stepped up with the major financial contribution that grew the reward to more than $300,000 because of other major donations. This is when we show the world who we are. Thank you all for everything you do for our city and stay safe. I believe in Nashville.”
The people who were injured from the bombing are in stable condition.
Lemonis is helping the healing too with his pledge.
