The governor of Arizona is suddenly drawing the ire of President Trump after appearing to ignore a phone call from him during a press conference in which Gov. Doug Ducey certified the states results for a Joe Biden victory.

As Ducey was holding a press conference to certify the state of Arizona’s election results, he received a phone call, pulled the phone out of his jacket pocket and ignored the caller, setting the phone down on the table. The phone call was reportedly from the White House.

President Trump later tweeted a video of the incident with the caption, “Why is he rushing to put a Democrat in office, especially when so many horrible things concerning voter fraud are being revealed at the hearing going on right now. @OANN What is going on with @dougducey? Republicans will long remember!”

The phone call to Ducey wasn’t the only one going out to the Grand Canyon State from Trump on Monday. The president also called into an Arizona hearing on election fraud that lasted more than eight hours. On the call, Trump said “the 2020 election was rigged, it was a scam and the whole world is watching and they’re laughing at our country. ‘We got 74 million [votes] and we didn’t win. But I know that we won Arizona and we won Michigan and we won Georgia and we won Pennsylvania and we won Wisconsin. But what they did is they played games,’” he said.

“This is the greatest scam ever perpetrated on our country,” said Trump. He went on to call it “the big one” after “Russia Russia Russia,” which he said resulted in the “phony impeachment.”

OANN Network reporter Christina Bobb tweeted out that “Gov Ducey has betrayed the people of Arizona.” President Trump retweeted the comment and added “TRUE!”
