There is a tense situation unfolding in the Middle East that needs to be monitored. It all started when a U.S. contractor was killed, and five military members were injured after being attacked by a suicide drone.

According to U.S. intelligence reports, the attack was carried out by a “one-way unmanned aerial vehicle that struck a maintenance facility on a Coalition base near Hasakah in northeast Syria at approximately 1:38 p.m. local time.”

The American forces are in Syria for one primary reason — to keep their eye on ISIS to ensure they don’t create instability in the Middle East.

After we struck back, Iran proxy forces took another shot at our soldiers at a U.S. base in Syria as seven rockets were fired early Friday morning.

And as American politicians fight each other, our real enemies are mobilizing during our time of weakness. According to Mark Milley, the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, Iran is just months away from producing a nuclear weapon.  That is what he told members of Congress Thursday.

Israel is well aware of the threat from Iran — and officials from that country have already warned U.S. and European leaders that they will attack Iran if the company enriches uranium past a 60% threshold. That would be a preemptive strike, as uranium becomes weapons-grade when enriched up to 90%.
