The intolerant left is back to showing its true colors, as actor George Takei, best known for his role in “Star Trek,” implied that he was hoping Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) would suffer an allergic reaction to the coronavirus vaccine.

“There are very, very few instances of known allergic reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine, but Marco Rubio has always thought of himself as one in a million so there’s still hope,” Takei tweeted on Sunday.

Takei’s tweet was in response to a tweet on Saturday by Marco Rubio declaring that he was so confident in the vaccine that he received the shot himself.

Critics quickly called Takei out for wishing harm on someone whom he disagrees with.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported on Saturday that they had learned of a handful of people suffering severe allergic reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine and now recommends that if a person has “ever had a severe allergic reaction to any ingredient in the vaccine,” then they should not get it.

On Monday, Takei continued to show his disdain for anyone who is not on par with his level of coastal elite intellect. Retweeting a map of the United States in which 16% of the country was shaded blue for the counties that Joe Biden won and 84% was red for the counties Donald Trump won, Takei said, “Those blue counties are where most of the people live and where two thirds of the economic output of the nation originates. And while empty minds do have the right vote, empty land does not.”

While Takei thinks that Middle America and Trump supporters struggle through life with empty minds, he leaves no doubt about how highly he thinks of himself.
