Usain Bolt is the fastest person ever to walk the face of the earth. He’s superhuman. The man is a living legend, an icon, an Olympic hero, and, unfortunately, possibly the victim of one insane and massive scam that has robbed him of millions.

According to a report in the Jamaica Observer, which is not on the same level as the New York Times or even the Omaha World-Herald but a newspaper nonetheless, reported that Bolt had lost all of his retirement money. Courtesy of a scammer that took roughly $10 million.

Bolt opened the account that was drained by low-life scumbags blk in 2012. He put $10 million into the account and didn’t do another transaction. But somehow, the scammers took all but $2,000 from that account.

Here’s the sad part of the story — this was Bolt’s retirement money. He invested in a financial institution called Stock and Securities Limited (SSL).  Peeling back the curtain on this scam, it points to an internal employee at SSL who put the con in motion by working with an outside wealth advisor.  Bolt was one of 30 people who had their money taken in the scheme.

SSL has been in the crosshairs of Bolt’s management team for years — they suspected something fishy, but they still snuck in and snatched the legend’s millions.

Usain Bolt provided inspiration and thrills for tens of millions of people. His Olympic performances were magical.

The thieves who made the wrong decision of robbing this man of millions of dollars better watch their backs. Fairytale stories of incredible athletes who accomplish feats never seen don’t end like this.
