Rupert Murdoch is truly an OG. Of course, he’s one of the most successful and iconic media barons of all time. Quite frankly, there’s probably nobody in his league regarding his accomplishments in the news, entertainment, and sports galaxies. But even at 91, the living legend is spry enough to date a woman a quarter of a century younger, just months after divorcing the ex-wife of one of the biggest rock stars of all time.
The ex-wife would be Jerry Hall, the one-time Mrs. Mick Jagger, whom he married after divorcing Wendy Deng, who was 38 years younger than the Australian icon.
The Daily Mail reports that Murdoch has moved on and is dating 66-year-old Ann-Lesly Smith. She is a former police chaplain and the widow of a former country music star, Chester Smith.
Murdoch and Smith were spotted soaking up the sun in Barbados, and if you search for these photos online, I must warn you that Murdoch was shirtless. I’ll leave it at that.
Smith’s former husband was kind of a mini-mogul version of Murdoch — he owned 13 television stations in California and Oregon which is an impressive accomplishment but pales next to the guy who created Fox. And Fox News. And owns the Wall Street Journal.
The new old love birds reportedly met in November and were chilling in the Caribbean with British billionaire Anthony Bamford.
