The video of the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, has been released, and it is pretty wild and only makes the entire story even more bizarre and surreal.

A judge in San Francisco ordered that the footage be made public, and a 1:39 clip from SFPD body camera footage shows what happened on October 28, when Palos was attacked by a nudist activist who broke into the Pelosi home.

David DePape is the attacker, and he had gone into the home to find Nancy Pelosi. Police arrived at the home around 2:30 a.m. and the video showed them at the front door with DuPape and Paul Pelosi in the background struggling over a hammer. DePape then struck Pelosi in the head in a violent attack, and the police stormed in at that point and apprehended the assailant.

Pelosi was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery to repair a skull fracture and other serious injuries to his arm and hands.

DePape has pleaded not guilty to all the state and federal charges thrown at him. He’s in jail and awaiting a February 23 court appearance where his trial date will be set.

Court records indicate that DePape helped “Where’s Nancy?” Upon entering the home. He told police he “came to have a little chat with (Paul Pelosi’s) wife.”

Here’s a comment from DePape that was in clued in the court filing.

“I didn’t really want to hurt him, but you know this was a suicide mission. I’m not going to stand here and do nothing even if it costs me my life.”
