President Donald Trump called in to Fox News Sunday for his first interview since the Nov. 3 Presidential Election, and he emphatically said multiple times that not only did Joe Biden essentially steal the election, but they had to evidence to prove it. When pressed by Maria Bartiromo about the chances for Trump’s campaign to get their charges of widespread voter fraud in front of the Supreme Court, the president said that is the plan, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. “The problem is it’s hard to get it to the Supreme Court,” he said.
Trump referenced the alleged voter fraud cases being heard in swing-state courts and how the judges’ decisions have typically not gone in their favor. “We’re not allowed to put in our proof. They say you don’t have standing. I would like to file one nice big beautiful lawsuit, talking about this and many other things, with tremendous proof. We have affidavits, we have hundreds and hundreds of affidavits.”
Trump claims it was statistically impossible for Biden to have received more than 80 million votes without help, blasting the Dominion voting system and saying there was a coordinated plan to rig the election.
The president admitted that his legal team is facing an uphill battle, especially with limited time to try to get their argument in front of the nine Supreme Court justices. He has yet to concede the 2020 election, even though Joe Biden is moving forward, nominating people for his cabinet positions and hiring his staff.
“My mind will not change in six months. There was tremendous cheating here,” Trump said. “If Republicans allow it to happen, you’ll never have another Republican elected in the history of this country, at a senate level or at a presidential level.”
