“The Rock” is rocking on Instagram! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson celebrated the 200 million follower milestone on Thursday, becoming the first man in America to achieve the feat on the social media platform.

The Hollywood mega-star and former WWE headliner achieved the milestone just days after endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election, which is set to take place on Nov. 3.

“The life lesson I want to share with you guys is to always speak your truth,” Johnson told his following in an Instagram video posted on Thursday. Decked out in a crisp white shirt with a black bowtie, Johnson cracked open a bottle of Teremana tequila, which just happens to be his brand.

Johnson, who continues to be the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, went on to say, “Always speak your truth and do your best to speak your truth with compassion, with a little bit of poise, with a little bit of dignity, with respect and with empathy, even when speaking your truth means you’re going to dive into some conversations that might make people a little uncomfortable.” As for reaching the 200 million Instagram threshold, he addressed that as “Officially becoming/The #1 followed man in America. The #1 followed American man in the world. And most importantly, the #1 daddy at home. Love you guys, I always got your back and let’s keep rockin’ 🖤👊🏾.”

The Rock was set to have a potential blockbuster on his hands this summer with the release of Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” film, based on the popular theme park ride. The movie was originally slated for release on July 24, but due to the pandemic the release has been moved back to July 30, 2021.
