File this under, “hey nobody’s perfect.”

Hayley Crombleholme is a reporter for KUTV in Salt Lake City.  Now keep in mind, she’s a news reporter, not a sports reporter, and she proved that with a recent interview she did outside Utah’s Vivint Arena, the home of the Utah Jazz, after the announcement all fans would need proof of a COVID-19 vaccination to go to a game.

It’s important to note there is only one professional team in Salt Lake City, and they are pretty visible in the community, but that didn’t stop Crombleholme from having no clue who she was talking to.

She stopped Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz, who is the reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year award winner, and asked him a couple things she now wishes she could get back.

  1. Who he was, and how to spell his name.
  2. Did he go to any Utah Jazz games.

Give her credit for being a good sport.  She actually posted on Twitter the exchange, and made fun of herself before anyone else good.

The video is going viral.  As far as we know, ESPN has not called her about working on NBA coverage for the network.
