Vice President Kamala Harris is being accused of helping Planned Parenthood cover up the illegal sale of body parts harvested from aborted fetuses in 2016, weaponizing her role as California Attorney General to seize and suppress undercover videos exposing the organization’s activities. Pro-life journalist David Daleiden, who secretly recorded the videos nearly 10 years ago, faces eight felony charges and possible jail time for his reporting—while Planned Parenthood continues to be a major donor to Harris’ political campaigns and a cherished partner of the Democratic Party.

In a thread of videos shared to social media, Daleiden exposes recorded with Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood’s senior director of medical services, in which she discusses efforts to retrieve hearts, lungs, and livers from aborted infants, remarking that the latter organ can sell for up to $1,500. She also explained that abortionists rip the legs off of fetuses during procedures in order to avoid having to report late-term abortions as partial-birth.

After recording the videos, Daleiden’s one-bedroom home in Orange County, California was raided by armed officers from the Department of Justice on orders from Attorney General Harris, who launched her campaign for Senate while overseeing the case. At the time, the footage was seized and held as evidence in an investigation, and Daleiden was charged with counts including conspiracy to invade privacy, recording without consent, and “manufacturing” a fake drivers license.

“What Kamala Harris did was unconstitutional and vindictive,” Steve Cooley, a former Los Angeles district attorney who now represents Daleiden, told the New York Post. “It was a selective prosecution for huge donors.”

“Kamala Harris opened this investigation at the behest of Planned Parenthood and the two AGs that followed her have kept it alive.”

Nine years after his initial arrest, Daleiden is still awaiting trial.
