Reports say that the attorneys for Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s assistant who was sentenced to a 20-year prison sentence, want her to do her time at FCI Danbury, a minimum-security federal prison in Connecticut.
“Be careful what you wish for,” seems to be the message from the inmates serving there.
A story in the NY Post quotes a former prisoner there who said her future fellow inmates would be waiting for her.
Here’s what Jacqueline Polverari said.
“She will have a rough six to eight months. I’ve already gotten emails from women who wrote to say that they ‘hear Maxwell will be coming this way.’ They’re preparing for her arrival, already requesting that they don’t want her in their dorms. And the camp counselor won’t put Maxwell where she is not wanted for fear that she may get hurt. Danbury will not be a picnic for Maxwell.”
The judge gave her two decades for her role in working with her boss Epstein to lure in young women and girls. Because of Maxwell’s role in some pretty awful sex crimes, things will be more difficult for her in this prison because her fellow inmates have access to the news.

“Women are worse than men about [prisoners convicted of] sex crimes. You have mothers there. They see a white woman charged with a sex crime, and they think any one of their children could have been her victim. She [Maxwell] would get a lot of flak. She would get the s–t beaten out of her a bunch of times.”
This is the same prison in which Real Housewife of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice served 15 months. Leona Helmsley also did time there.
