Nobody is sure what to call it, but Republicans and conservatives are sure that President Donald Trump’s supporters are going to show up in droves Saturday in Washington, D.C.

Whether it’s the March for Trump, Million MAGA March, Stop the Steal D.C. or March for 45, several Trump-backing groups are individually promoting events that will coincide at noon in D.C., either at Freedom Plaza or near the Supreme Court building.

“I think it’s going to be quite large, from what I’m hearing,” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told Fox & Friends. “I don’t have an estimate for you, but people want to show up and have their voice heard.

“I mean this president — look, he got more votes than any Republican nominee, or president, I should say, in the history of our country and indeed he got more Republican votes than any nominee in the history of our party back in 2016.”

A March for Trump web page indicates that Republican Reps. Mike Kelly and Louie Gohmert and Republican Congresswoman-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene will speak.

“Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and nullify Republican votes,” the page says. “It’s up to the American people to stop it. Along with President Trump, we will NOT back down to ensure the integrity of this election for the good of the nation. This is a coalition/team effort. We need boots on the ground to protect the integrity of the vote.”

McEnany anticipates a large event, but DC Metro Police have not received any permit applications, and Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency director Christopher Rodriguez said Thursday that it is not expecting much to come of the groups it is tracking.

“Very small groups of people from about a dozen groups will be in the District,” Rodriguez told reporters.

So you know what this means? Trump’s term will probably end just as it started – with a debate about crowd size.
