President Joe Biden and White House aides were not aware of nor briefed on the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home.

Apparently, the President and his administration learned about the search from public reports in the media, according to press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday.

“The Justice Department conducts investigations independently and we leave any law enforcement matters to them,” Jean-Pierre said. “It would not be appropriate for us to comment on any ongoing investigations.”

Federal investigators searched the former president’s Florida residence as part of a probe into whether he removed classified documents from the White House when he left office, according to a person familiar with the action.

Jean-Pierre said that Biden believed investigations “should be free from political influence” and has held to that commitment as president.

President Biden and his administration supposedly had no idea that the F.B.I. was planning to raid the Trump residence until media reports came out.

By coincidence, former President Trump was not in town at the time of the raid.

“We’re just not going to comment.”

Trump called the raid a “weaponization of the Justice System” by Democrats “who desperately don’t want me to run for president in 2024.”

Donald Trump makes HISTORY as the first former president to be raided by the F.B.I.

The F.B.I. raided former President Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday afternoon as part of an ongoing investigation being conducted.

The U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee is expanding its investigation into Trump’s actions regarding the “destruction and removal of White House records.”

The committee requested that the archives be turned over, prompting the FBI raid. Trump previously confirmed that he had agreed to return certain records to the Archives, calling it “an ordinary and routine process.”

A congressional panel investigating “Jan. 6” is working to build a case that Former President Donald Trump broke the law in attempting to overturn his 2020 election defeat.

Last week, the committee requested to receive all of Alex Jones’ leaked text messages which surfaced in his recent trial to support their case.

Steve Bannon was recently found guilty of contempt in a case related to January 6th.

Donald Trump was NOT at the Mar-A-Lago residence during the search involving more than a dozen FBI agents.

Melania and Barron Trump’s whereabouts have not been disclosed to the media.

The former President was at Trump Tower in New York City, according to his advisors.

The FBI has also declined to comment. A Justice Department spokeswoman declined to comment when asked whether Attorney General Merrick Garland approved the search.

Trump advisers have denied any bad intent, saying the boxes in question contained mementos from his presidency.
