Big news coming from Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani as the pair announced they are officially engaged. On Tuesday, the 51-year old Stefani posted an Instagram photo of her and the 44-year old Shelton kissing, with her left hand held up to display her ring. “@blakeshelton yes please!” she captioned the post.

Shelton also took to Twitter to announce the engagement, posting the same photo with his own caption, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!”

The ring Stefani was flashing is estimated to cost more than half a million dollars. Rumors had been swirling that the Shelton had popped the question earlier this month in Oklahoma. The pair began dating back in 2015 after appearing together as coaches on “The Voice” the previous season.

No word on any negotiations of a prenup at this point but there probably are about 250 million reasons why they may want one. Blake is estimated to be worth around $100 million, while Gwen’s net worth is somewhere north of $150 million.

In the rankings of celeb power couples, the pair are doing pretty well but still lag behind some of the wealthiest couples in music. Beyonce and Jay-Z lead the way with a net worth well above $1 billon. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are estimated to have a net worth of around $400 million.
