Getting to six figures is hard enough. But imagine reaching the ten-figure mark. Only 13% of Americans make more than 100k per year. Only 34% of American households exceed $100,000.

From chocolate factories to islands to recreating the record-breaking show Squid Games, Jimmy Donaldson, known as Mr. Beast, has a no holds barred approach to creating content as an entrepreneur.

“A lot of people still see YouTubers as a subclass of influencers,” he says. “They still just don’t truly understand the influence a lot of creators have.”

Here are some stats for Mr. Beast, who is currently worth $500 million:

He has over 114 million subscribers on his main channel @MrBeast. His affiliate channels have:

-Beast Philanthropy, 10.7M subscribers

-MrBeast Gaming, 29.7M subscribers

-Beast Reacts, 20.4M subscribers

-MrBeast 2, 17M subscribers

“It’s pretty simple. Honestly, I got my first brand deal for $10,000 and I gave it away. I got it, went outside and gave it to a homeless person,” Donaldson says. “I don’t want to play it up too much. It just felt good. It’s a world where I take 10 grand and light it on fire and make 20 grand.”

Donaldson is a needle in a haystack for obvious reasons. Some will say because of his abundant philanthropic efforts, karma is showing him that love, back. Sometimes, what you give out, comes back tenfold.

“Your probability of being a billionaire is higher if you don’t make that your goal,” Donaldson says. “Just focus on making a company that is dope.”

Besides Donaldson’s various stunts and viral videos, he has exploded as an entrepreneur in other businesses such as his chocolate company Feastables, and his food company Mr. Beast Burger

His Philanthropic efforts include:

-Team Trees, which raised $20 million for arbor day in planting trees.

-Team Seas, which had a $30 million goal in the removal of plastic from the Ocean.

-Beast Philanthropy, which consistently feeds hungry families.

Many moguls are trying to save the world. And Mr. Beast does that through entertainment, and giving back in creative and impactful ways.
