It might be the only thing Michael Jordan has come close to failing at in life.

For some reason, he just can’t sell his house in Highland Park, Illinois, as it officially will hit ten years on the market being for sale with no buyer.

There are several reasons for it having a for sale sign on the yard for a decade.

Here’s a list.

It’s 32,683 square feet. A tad big for most people.

It sits on 7.37 acres of land.  Who has that much time to mow the lawn?

There is a full-sized indoor basketball court in the house.  Not many people are in the market for that.

A hefty property tax bill comes with the home.  Last year it was $132,014.

The home was built in 1995 and features 15 full bathrooms, nine bedrooms, a clear infinity pool, and a cigar room.

There are 56,000 square feet of living space and room for 15 cars.

MJ put the house on the market in 2012 for $29 million and has almost cut that price in half now to $14.85 million.

Katherine Malkin of Compass is the realtor waiting patiently to cash a fat commission check. Here’s what she told Elite Street about the home.

“It’s a beautiful property, and I think nobody understands how beautiful it is because we don’t do it as an open house because there’s a privacy concern. It’s not until people are inside that they really appreciate it. And not everybody qualifies financially (to view the home).”
