The White House’s messaging on elevated gas prices continues to provoke frustration from consumers.

Deese’s comments sparked a significant negative backlash on Twitter.

National Economic Council Chairman Brian Deese spoke with CNN Thursday afternoon just hours after President Joe Biden told reporters that the public should expect prices to remain at their current level for “as long as it takes” for Ukraine to win the war against Russia.

“What we heard from the president, this is about the future of the liberal world order. We have to stand firm,” Deese said. “At the same time, what I’d say to Americans across the country is you have a presidential administration that is going to do everything in its power to blunt those price increases and bring those prices down.”

Is sending $40 Billion to Ukraine supposed to bring the price of gas down? How about opening the Keystone Pipeline?

What about spending up to $300,000,000,000 BILLION taxpayer dollars on more COVID vaccines?

Just wondering.

“These are uncertain times,” he said about a recent poll showing that 85% believe America is on the wrong track. “When prices are high, people are understandably frustrated when they are pulling up at the gas pump. That’s understandable. At the same time, it is our job, and it’s the president’s firm conviction, that what he can do as president is to take every responsible action that he has, and we have and also remind the American people that even as we go through this challenging period, even whilst we move through this transition, we also have made historic economic progress.”

Nationwide gas prices decreased by about 20 cents in June, but they continue to remain above $4.80 per gallon.

Biden himself has recently sought to change his messaging on gas prices after Democratic officials urged the White House to focus on domestic solutions rather than blaming prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The American people understood. The American people rose to the moment. The American people did what they always have done: defend freedom around the world. They chose to stand with the people of Ukraine,” Biden said during a speech calling for a three-month gas tax holiday.

“So for all those Republicans in Congress criticizing me today for high gas prices in America, are you now saying we were wrong to support Ukraine? Are you saying we were wrong to stand up to Putin? Are you saying that we would rather have lower gas prices in America and Putin’s iron fist in Europe? I don’t believe that” he said.

Why Russia Invaded the Ukraine:

According to an article in Der Spiegel, a newly discover document dated to March of 1991 shows that discussions between the West and Russia made it clear that NATO would not expand past East Germany.

Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in Moscow, on April 26, 2022, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, Ukraine, on May 8, 2022. An interminable and unwinnable war in Europe? That’s what NATO leaders fear and are bracing for as Russia’s war in Ukraine grinds into its third month with little sign of a decisive military victory for either side, and no resolution in sight. RUSSIA & UKRAINE: TIMELINE OF EVENTS

On February 20th, 2022, VP Harris blurted out that Ukraine should join NATO which was a direct violation of the Belgrade Agreement.

Ukraine, the 3rd largest nuclear power at the time, gave up its nuclear weapons and NATO promised not to invade as did Russia provided Ukraine was to remain NEUTRAL.

Then 3 days later, Zelensky announced that he would pursue nuclear weapons to defend against Russia.

The next day, Putin invaded to protect the Donbas on February 24th.

Many world leaders are beginning to wake up to the lies and propaganda of this Ukrainian hoax of a war. This was all done deliberately because Europe NEEDS to default on the debt which they can no longer sustain… peoples’ pensions will be wiped out and millions of people will likely storm the parliaments…

The only escape for those in government is to create a war to hide the collapse.

A newly discovered document from March 1991 shows US, UK, French, and German officials discussing a pledge made to Russia that NATO will not expand to Poland and beyond.

Its publication by the German magazine Der Spiegel on Friday proves Moscow right and NATO wrong on the matter.

The minutes of a March 6, 1991 meeting in Bonn between political directors of the foreign ministries of the US, UK, France, and Germany contain multiple references to “2+4” talks on German unification in which the West made it “clear” to the Soviet Union that NATO will not expand past the eastern borders of Germany.

“We made it clear to the Soviet Union – in the 2+4 talks, as well as in other negotiations – that we do not intend to benefit from the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Eastern Europe,” the document quotes US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Canada Raymond Seitz.

“NATO should not expand to the east, either officially or unofficially,” Seitz added.

A British representative also mentions the existence of a “general agreement” that membership of NATO for eastern European countries is “unacceptable.”

“We had made it clear during the 2+4 negotiations that we would not extend NATO beyond the Elbe,” said West German diplomat Juergen Hrobog. “We could not therefore offer Poland and others membership in NATO.”

NATO has added 14 member states east of Germany since end of First Cold War, violating the Treaty of Belgrade.

Since the end of the First Cold War and the overthrow of the Soviet Union,14 countries in Central and Eastern Europe have joined the US-led NATO military alliance – all countries east of Germany, in flagrant violation of the promise not to expand.

In 1999, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland joined NATO.

In 2004, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia joined as well.

In 2009, Albania and Croatia joined.

In 2017, Montenegro joined.

In 2020, North Macedonia joined.

NATO has also discussed the possibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Ukraine joining in the future.

In December of 2021, the Russian Federation requested that NATO agree to a series of security guarantees, including a promise not to add any more members.

The United States and NATO rejected Moscow’s request to compromise, causing Russia to invade the Ukraine shortly after.
