We’ve got an under the radar trial that reveals tons of corruption within the FBI, and a workplace climate of fear and discrimination.

Under the aegis of a gender discrimination trial, the defendant lost her lawsuit, but a treasure trove of misdeeds and corruption were revealed by witnesses. While Politico has come out with a detailed article, the rest of the mainstream media has failed to cover the issue.

One witness to come out swinging against the FBI was Jim Baker, their former chief counsel. He expressed difficulty in his job, as no one internally in the FBI wanted to communicate with him. FBI employees, according to Baker, would often get admonishment from higher ups if they were found simply talking to Baker. Baker noted that to give him crucial information, they would often subversively and anonymously slip notes under his door.

“People were so afraid to be seen talking to me,” Baker testified. “They were afraid of some of the leadership that was still in the office.” This speaks volumes about the FBI’s concern for following the letter of the law, and this was all occurring during their investigation of former President Trump.

The obstruction gets worse, however. Inspector General Michael Horowitz, tasked with being the FBI’s main ombudsman, made efforts to open an obstruction of justice investigation when he felt his office didn’t have proper and lawful access to the FBI’s files.

Baker had some harsh words for Robert Mueller’s righthand man, Andrew Weissman, who assisted him during the Russia and Paul Manafort investigations. “I wanted people to tell me when I was wrong, which was the complete opposite from what Andrew did. The agency had this tendency not to speak truth to each other in meetings and in other settings.”

This lawsuit reveals more than just gross incompetence on the FBI’s part. It reveals a biased way of operating when it came of to Trump’s investigation, and a blatant disregard for the law.
