Kendall Jenner launched 818 Tequila, named after the area code in Calabasas, California said she’s been tinkering on this project for years, and now she’s ready for the world to help her build an empire that can rival her little sister Kylie.
The 25-year old supermodel posted on Instagram details of what’s gone into this launch. “For almost 4 years I’ve been on a journey to create the best-tasting tequila.”[A]fter dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING… 3.5 years later i think we’ve done it!”
She entered 818 Tequilla in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge and one of the judges took note of it’s distinct taste, saying its tasting notes had earthy aromas of pine and yellow fruits mixed with vanilla with sweet aromas of brown sugar, spicy cinnamon and finished with hints of roasted agave.
Kendall should hire that judge! She’s as articulate as she is impressed.
