Just think of how relaxing Prime Day could make future days.

You could be pulling off that quilted down comforter and heated throw and slipping into your memory-foam slippers and kimono robe to start your day with a whiff of your essential-oil diffuser as you whip up breakfast with an electric crepe maker and coffee maker and pack your lunch bag tote for work or take your work-from-home spot at the vertical laptop stand.

All these items are among a million sale items that Amazon is posting for Prime Day, which this year are actually Prime Days, today and Wednesday. The annual July event was delayed to this month by COVID-19, but that is only supposed to make sales more robust (possibly $10 billion!) as shoppers start thinking about Christmas.

There’s no reason to wait for Black Friday when these smoking deals might be better now and force many competitors to counter with slashed prices.

So scoop up those items like a robot vacuum as Amazon processes orders like a meat grinder with the safety of a home security system and the privacy of a wine tumbler.

Yeah, those are also items for sale on Prime Day, a pseudo-national holiday which ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday.

And when it’s all over, slip on the yoga pants, use the makeup-remover pads and listen to some Amazon Music on those new Apple AirPods while checking the video doorbell for whom you can ignore so you can stay in your Sherpa wearable blanket.
