It happens so frequently that it shouldn’t be shocking anymore, but every time a celebrity gets their home broken into, the details seem staggering. This time it’s a former NFL star calling his insurance company.

Fox Analyst and Hall of Fame NFL star Shannon Sharpe’s home was burglarized last week, and thieves hauled off a treasure trove of luxury watches, jewelry, and designer bags valued at a million dollars or so.

It happened when Sharpe was out of the house on May 19 between the hours of 7 PM and 9:30 PM when he was at dinner with friends. When he returned, he noticed something suspicious and called the cops.

So far, no arrests, and no leads, which has led to Sharpe offering a $50,000 reward for any info that leads to the recovery of his stuff or an arrest.

Sharpe had a fantastic career on the field with Denver and Baltimore and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

He is currently a co-host on the Fox Sports show “Undisputed,” along with Skip Bayless. As traumatic as the robbery has been, Sharpe has not missed a single day of work since the break-in.
