Jamie White, a reporter for InfoWars, was found dead outside his apartment in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night, according to outlet host Alex Jones. White’s death, which is still under investigation, marks the city’s eighth homicide this year, leading Jones to lay the blame at the feet of Austin’s soft-on-crime district attorney.

“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza,” Jones wrote in a statement. “We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.”

APD Public Information Officer Leah Ratliff told the local Fox affiliate that White had been discovered with severe trauma wounds at approximately 11:57 p.m. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

“This is pretty early on in the investigation, and the homicide unit will be releasing more information as they’re able,” Ratliff said.

A 2024 social media post from Jamie White confirmed that his name appeared on Ukraine’s ‘Enemies List’

The cause of death and potential suspects have not been disclosed, but Jones publicly attributed the murder to Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza’s progressive policies, which he claims undermine law enforcement.

Garza’s campaign for office had financial backing from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, further fueling Jones’ accusations.

“When you see the Soros DAs in control of over 800 jurisdictions protecting serious narcotic and human trafficking gangs, and you see different feds in ICE calling in warnings for the most violent gangs in the world that there are ICE raids coming, Pam Bondi saying that they’re preparing to idict some of these people, that there are so many communist traitors in the government that they’re doing polygraphs…” Jones said during his Monday broadcast. “This is a crisis, defunding the police, all of this has been to destabilize society.”

On Tuesday, Jones also obliquely that Ukraine might have had a role in White’s death, pointing back to when the late reporter was put on the country’s “Enemies List” for his reporting on the war with Russia.

The Austin Police Department has not confirmed any political motives behind the killing.

According to Jones, InfoWars staff only learned of White’s death after he failed to show up for work on Monday morning, which was said to be completely out of character for him.

“We sent some people over this morning when he didn’t answer the phone because he’s always here early, loves to work, loves to fight tyranny, loves to promote freedom,” Jones said, adding that “Jamie was our best writer.”

White’s death has sparked considerable speculation and political discourse, with Jones vowing to continue White’s work and seek justice.
