Here’s a word to the wise; don’t tick off Taylor Swift. If you do, be ready for the wrath of her millions of “Swifties” to attack and for Taylor to start thinking about a diss track.
Smack dab in the middle of her cross-hairs now is Ticketmaster, who botched the ticket sale of her upcoming tour.
Swift said sorry to her fans who felt they got hosed by Ticketmaster. Legions of her followers were trying for hours on end to land tickets to the tour, and all they got for their efforts was frustration.
Taylor sent out a message addressing the debacle. It’s a lengthy statement on Instagram, and she made it clear she is ticked off at Ticketmaster.
“There are a multitude of reasons why people had such a hard time trying to get tickets and I’m trying to figure out how this situation can be improved moving forward.
I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could. It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”
Do you know who must be feeling relieved about all this? John Mayer. Finally, she can take her hatred of him and shift it to Ticketmaster.
