Megastar Rihanna has officially signed on to rock the stage during Super Bowl LVII on February 12 in Glendale, Arizona, which means the owners of the two teams competing won’t be the only billionaire’s taking center stage.

The 2023 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show will probably look and feel a little different now that Apple has replaced Pepsi as the event’s title sponsor. Apple has already said they will provide much more content, including behind-the-scenes previews and much more in the days and weeks leading up to the game.

Rihanna has a tough act to follow after Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent crushed their performance in Los Angeles seven months ago.

Roc Nation has had a role in producing the past three halftime shows, and they will work with Rihanna on this one that is expected to be seen by over 120 million people.

Rihanna tweeted a cool picture of herself holding an NFL football high in the air as the news became official, but it appears she was the second choice of the NFL, who reportedly gave the initial invite to Taylor Swift.  She said she wanted to take a pass until she has re-recorded all six of her early albums that now belong to Scooter Braun, who paid $300 million three years ago for her entire music catalog. Currently, Swift has re-recorded two of her early albums.

Rihanna could have help, as reports are out that another performer might be on stage with her.
