The Georgia ballot recount hit another speed bump on Sunday, delaying the recount requested by Donald Trump. This problem once again centered around the Dominion Voting System, which had a server crash.
“Technicians from Dominion have been dispatched to resolve the issue,” said officials in Fulton County, Georgia. “The Georgia Secretary of State’s office has also been alerted to the issue and is aware of efforts to resolve the problem.”
The recount is expected to conclude on Wednesday.
Dominion continues to be the focus of voter fraud from the president and lawyer Sydney Powell. This weekend, Powell filed a federal lawsuit claiming that Georgia officials were bribed as part of a conspiracy with Dominion to rig the election in favor of Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Biden was certified the winner in Georgia after winning the state by around 13,000 votes, while the legal battles in the state have continued.
On Sunday, a federal judge ordered all of the state’s voting machines not be wiped until further notice, but within hours appeared to reverse the order. Then late Sunday night, the Judge released a four-page directive that issued a temporary restraining order on Dominion voting machines in three counties.
Judge Timothy Batten Sr. wrote, “Defendants are hereby enjoined and restrained from altering, destroying, or erasing, or allowing the alteration, destruction, or erasure of, any software or data on any Dominion voting machine in Cobb, Gwinnett, and Cherokee Counties.”
President Trump continued to voice his displeasure with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Sunday, while appearing on Fox Business Channel saying, “The governor’s done nothing. He’s done absolutely nothing. I’m ashamed that I endorsed him.”
