It appears not even a heart emoji can save actress-turned-activist Alyssa Milano from being eviscerated on Twitter. The former “Who’s The Boss” star, who has spent the better part of the last four years arguing with and often insulting Trump supports on her social platforms, attempted to make a peace offering.

“I’d like to extend an olive branch to Trump supporters. I am ready to move #ForwardTogether,” Milano tweeted on Tuesday. But MAGA’s are seeing red, and clearly not ready to forgive and forget Milano. In fact, they lit a fire in her comment section both ranting and reminiscing about the former online antics of the activist.

Like the time Milano accused the President’s supporters of being the next generation of the Ku Klux Klan, tweeting that, “The red MAGA hat is the new white hood.” Then, instead of apologizing, penned an op-ed for The Wrap defending her decision to call Trump supporters racists.

Another Twitter user held onto one image in particular, tweeting, “I remember you. You were the one glaring at Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his hearings.”

“Expecting everyone to say ‘Oh let’s forget you called me a Nazi, let’s hang out’ is both hypocritical and immature. Sorry, you don’t get the moral high ground here,” tweeted another.

The actress, with more than 3.7 million followers who lean left with her, is clearly at peace with the how things are turning out for her candidate of choice. Her tweet at attempted reconciliation generated more than 50,000 comments in just 24 hours.

One Twitter user perhaps spoke for the entire nest by posting: “I’m too lazy to read the comments but I suspect this yielded exactly zero Trump supporters to take your olive branch.”
