Eric Roberts has so many screen credits that the IMDB website server is bigger than Google’s.

Not really, but get this; the less famous and annoying brother of Julia Roberts has over 700 film and TV credits. That is not a misprint.

He’s the hardest (and busiest) working person in Hollywood.  Last year alone, he was in 33 movies.  How is that possible?

He has 66 projects currently in various stages of production.

There’s a better chance of winning the Powerball jackpot of $1.4 billion than going to a theater or scrolling through the menu of your favorite streamer and not seeing an Eric Roberts project.

He’s been making movies since his debut in King of the Gypsies in 1978.  He received a Golden-Globe nomination for that one.

A big reason why he can juggle all these projects is that they are primarily low-budget independent films and shows. He’s crafted an innovative and profitable business model; he can lend his name to these projects that typically couldn’t afford someone of his stature, and he focuses on volume.

Eric’s wife, Eliza (mother of Emma Roberts), is his manager with the herculean task of managing his schedule.

It is not uncommon for Eric to receive between 20 and 30 offers in a single day, according to a story in The Hollywood Reporter.  It’s not unusual for Roberts to receive an offer on a Friday and be shooting scenes for it the next day.

The 66-year-old told THR that adding his name to a project for an unknown young director will help fund it quickly.

“Yeah, it sometimes helps get loans in the bank. But I don’t want to sound like I’m being a hero. I’m doing it for myself, to be honest. But my wife pointed out that a lot of these directors are children, and some of them are going to be fantastic, and we’re going to discover them. So that’s the attitude I go in with, and it’s been so rewarding. I’ve met such great people. And I have seen the planet three times for free.”
