Elon Musk has revolutionized electric cars with Tesla. He may someday colonize Mars, and his StarLink WiFi has the most extensive network of satellites floating around the galaxy that has ever been created.  Yet his most significant achievement may go down as being the guy responsible for doing away with cancel culture.  Is it gone? Musk thinks it is.

Joe Rogan and Matt Taibbi were on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience recently. Here’s what Rogan said regarding the cancel culture and how it has been shut down thanks to Musk owning Twitter.

“Because now people aren’t scared to speak their mind on Twitter, you’re seeing so much pushback… Now, people aren’t scared to go in after it. They’re not worried about losing their account, which they were before.”

Taibbi is the journalist charged with pushing out some of Musk’s Twitter files that he released when he took over last fall. He responded to Rogan by saying, “I hope that’s one of the results [of Musk buying Twitter]; the old Twitter was just a grindstone of official messaging.”

When Musk took over Twitter, he vowed to protect free speech in America, and he declared that cancel culture was over when he responded to a tweet that referenced the convo between Rogan and Taibbi.

“RIP Cancel Culture, you won’t be missed. The old Twitter was just a grindstone of official messaging.”

Musk has been quietly on the warpath to put an end to cancel culture, and he claims he’s done it.
