Hillary Clinton is coming off one massive, four-year hangover, and she appears to be setting herself up for another round of misery if President Donald Trump should emerge victorious on Election Day (or shortly thereafter, when all votes have been counted). In an interview with Kara Swisher of the New York Times’ “Sway” podcast, Clinton called Republicans “cowards” and “spineless enablers” while also talking about the possibility of four more years of Trump.

The former Secretary of State said that she “can’t entertain the idea of [Trump] winning. … It would cause cognitive dissonance of a grave degree,” adding that it “makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we’d have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions. And damaging of our norms and our values. And lessening of our leadership. And the list goes on.”

Clinton went on to say that if Joe Biden were to win the election, she would not be looking for a spot in his administration, saying, “I just want to be able to exhale.”

The former First Lady has been relatively quiet throughout the campaign, other than hitting the fundraising circuit for Biden as well as Democratic House and Senate candidates.

While talking about the current administration, Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump, said, “I think I live rent-free in his head.”

Four years ago, on this exact date, Clinton tweeted out a photo of herself as a child with the caption “Happy birthday to this future president.” The tweet has been living “rent free” on Clinton’s Twitter feed ever since.

Happy Birthday, Hillary! Now back to Decision 2020.
