Here’s something that you could file under the category of “ironic.” According to one of Donald Trump’s former close advisors, the former president “feels happier” now living in Florida than he did in the White House. Jason Miller, a former campaign strategist for Trump, went so far as to say Trump is happy he is not on Twitter.

Knowing that, the next logical question is this; if Jack Dorsey knows that banning Trump from Twitter has actually made him more relaxed and happy, would he consider finding a way to force Trump to begin tweeting again at his former rate? Nothing would upset Trump’s enemies more you’d think than knowing they inadvertently did something to make his life better.

In an interview with the London Times, Miller was pretty adamant about the fact that living the good life at Mar-a-Lago with a couple million other retirees in Florida has turned Trump into a different person.  ”This was the first time in years that I saw the president truly relaxed,” he told the Times. “Only 45 other people in US history have experienced what it is like to have the world on their shoulders . . . and to be able to exhale, knowing that it’s not all on you for the first time in four years.”

What about the upcoming Senate impeachment trial set to start on Monday? “There is no real scenario in which he is going to be convicted, so the pressure is completely off,”  Miller said.

While Miller paints a picture of a calm ex-president, calmly chilling out in Palm Beach and not feeling the pressures of the world closing in on him, another “source” told The Daily Beast last week a different story, saying Trump is so frustrated being banned rom Twitter he is writing insults and tweets and trying to get aides to send them.

At least he doesn’t have to worry about the winning Super Bowl team turning him down for a visit!
