Joe Biden is 78 years old, and for any of his supporters who wish he were the Joe Biden of 30 years ago, they kind of got their wish today. Biden was campaigning in Toledo, Ohio, speaking to a small crowd, when he explained the reason he was running for office. According to Biden, he feels that the country needs to come together, and he’s the man who can make it happen, which is why he said, “That’s why I’m running as a proud Democrat for the Senate.”

Later in the rally, Biden was reminding the crowd how important it is to vote in the upcoming election on Nov. 3, saying “Vote, vote. Visit iwill.com/ohio.” That website does not exist.

These are the latest flubs by the former vice president that give more ammunition to his critics who say he is not equipped to be president. Ironically, in late February during the Democratic primary, Biden told a crowd in South Carolina that he was running for a “United States Senate seat,” and added, “Look me over. If you like what you see, help me out; if not, you can vote for the other Biden. Give me a look, though.”

Biden is on the road this week instead of preparing for what would have been the second presidential debate Thursday night in Miami. That event was cancelled late last week.
